Whether you love scary movies or loathe the thought of watching one, there’s no doubt that you’ve heard of all of the hype surrounding JJ Abrams’ newest project, Cloverfield. While I wasn’t personally a big fan, many of you think the film is brilliant; either way, the one fact that you can’t dispute is that Cloverfield had a unique marketing strategy that helped to make the movie the top grossing film in its opening week. Facebook pages, Myspace profiles, and widgets like the one below show the impact that an online social campaign can have on a traditional medium.

A Bronx Tale on Broadway
Are you bored and looking for something fun to do in New York City? If so, you should go see A Bronx Tale on Broadway.
A Bronx Tale is a one man show, written and performed by Chazz Palminteri, that tells the story of a young boy in the Bronx and the influences that shape his life - from his working class father to the ‘tough guys’ who run the streets, Chazz sets the scene and takes you away to 187th and Belmont in the 1960s. For an hour and a half expect to laugh and be thoroughly entertained, and the best part is that you can get half price tickets at the tkts booth the day of the show! (tkts is located in the Marriott Marquis Hotel during the renovation of Duffy Square: West 46th Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue).
Whether you’ve seen the movie, or you’re just looking for something new to do on a Sunday afternoon, you should definitely go to see this classic broadway play.
