Let’s be up front and make sure that we’re all clear about one thing – I am in love with the Bravo series “Real Housewives!” Even more so, I am in obsessed with the second season of the show from New Jersey. With that said, I was super psyched to see tonight’s episode where Teresa and Danielle have an argument in a fancy establishment and the police are called. To my dismay, the drama unfolded with two minutes left in the show… and the cliffhanger doesn’t resume for a full two weeks! The next episode is on July 12th.Needless to say, I am bummed. Let down. Unfulfilled. Cranky. Bitter. And just plain disappointed. Darn you, Bravo!

Toy Story 3
Let’s be up front and admit that it has been nearly 2 decades since I saw Toy Story and I can’t recall ever seeing Toy Story 2. Yet, I had heard a lot of hype about Toy Story 3 – from friends and not from advertising – and a nice relaxed movie night was a welcome idea for a hot summer night. Better yet, the movie was playing in 3D at the Imax theatre at the Palisades Mall, and having seen Avatar in 3D (although not in Imax) I knew this would make the movie experience twice as nice.
The movie – fantastic. The theatre experience – not so much. Let’s start with the good. Toy Story 3 was hilarious with a decent, non cheesy storyline. As an adult, I could appreciate the plot just as much as the 5 year old who was sitting next to me. And the addition of Barbi and Ken – AWESOME! The 3D experience was pretty cool too, adding some depth and excitement. Best of all, the movie was under 2 hours which was a welcome experience after the epic 3 hour Avatar movie from 6 months ago.
The bad – the Imax theatre at the Palisades Mall wasn’t really all that great. The theatre looks old, the seats were broken, the floor was sticky, and the 3D glasses didn’t look like they were clean. I also expected a domed screen whereas this theatre just had a very large flat screen. With this in mind, I could have saved $6 a ticket and could have seen the same movie in my local theatre with fresh clean glasses and less travel time.
The Procrastinator’s Pitstop recommendation:
1. If you haven’t already, go see Toy Story 3 (in 3D if you can)
2. Skip the Imax theatre at the Palisades Mall.

The Hills
As a self respecting adult, I hate to admit this but… I am excited for the upcoming season of The Hills. Granted, I haven’t watched a single episode since Lauren Conrad left the show last season, but MTV is airing a Hills marathon this weekend and I have been sucked in.
Heidi’s old face, Heidi’s old “new” face, Jen Bunny, Brody, Frankie, Teen Vogue, … I could totally watch this all day (and I probably will)!

Red Plum Shopping
Who likes to shop? I do, I do!!! Yet sometimes I get frustrated when I have 10 browsers open and I’m flipping between different sites looking for the best deal. Earlier this week I stumbled upon a new site called Red Plum, which just might be a solution to every girl’s shopping dilemmas.
Redplum.com is a single destination with special offers, deals, product information, and coupons for products and services that are local and relevant to you. Red Plum has already done the dirty work to find the best offers, deals, and products to feature in one place, so that you can easily enjoy the savings, splurge on the fun things, and spend more time doing the things that matter.
You can quickly search through a wide variety of categories to find valued offers, expert advice, fun tips and recommendations that are relevant to you. As you find great offers, you can easily print them out, save them for later or even share them with family and friends!
Happy shopping!

A coworker of mine found a great blog for those of you who are in dire need of a quick break and a good laugh. Stuff White People Like has a list of, you guessed it, stuff that white people like!
Before you get on my case for the taste of this post check out the whole list, and if you still don’t agree with things like assists, tea, and expensive sandwiches… well then, I guess you just aren’t that funny.

Diamonds!!!
Leave it to me to talk about diamonds!! Sotheby’s Hong Kong galleries will be auctioning a 72.22-carat diamond.
If you’re interested, the diamond is expected to fetch between $10 million and $13 million, and is a pear shaped, D-color, flawless gem with GIA-graded excellent polish and symmetry. For those of you who are diamond novices, D-color is actually colorless and considered the most highly valued.

Things That I Love
As the weather starts to get warmer, I can’t help but gush about my love for my newest winter coat. Granted, I might have picked it out and ordered it online, but it was a happy day when Santa left this shiny surprise under the tree on Christmas Eve. It’s Victoria’s Secret’s VIA Empire-waist wool coat in herringbone, and I get compliments everytime I wear it… almost makes me wish winter would last just a little bit longer, but not quite
